During 2017, Meza & Jiménez Abogados sponsored in Lima and in Provinces of our country, 8 academic training events in Medical Law to Health professionals of various hospitals of the Ministry of Health, of the National Police, Clinics belonging to Non-Profit Associations and in Regional Councils of the Peruvian Medical Association.

Likewise, in July 2017, our lawyers were once again present as the only Speakers representing Peru at the 23rd World Congress of Medical Law organized by the World Association for Medical Law ( World Association for Medical Law) in the city of Baku in Azerbaijan, where they lectured on: “The Medical Act Before the Courts of Peru: The Origin of a New Victim”; and “Longitudinal Study Between 2016 – 2017 About Informed Consent in Peru: Approximation of National Situation”.

During the 23rd World Congress of Medical Law, the Assembly of Members of the World Association for Medical Law elected with an overwhelming number of votes one of the Senior Partners of our Law Firm, Dr. Rosa Teresa Meza Vásquez, as Member of the Board of Governors of this important International Organization that brings together all the leaders in Medical Law around the world, election that becomes a historical milestone for our country since it is the first time that Peru becomes part of a governing body of the World Association for Medical Law (World Association for Medical Law).
